About the Role:
Our client is looking for a Software Development Team Leader. The successful candidate will be working in an Agile way to support and enhance a rostering management solution. Leading a small team of experienced Developers and reporting to the Development Manager, you will require strong communication and leadership skills including an ability to engage with business teams!
There will be a split between management, varying between 25% management to 75% hands-on development, with 100% management during the start and end of the project.
Your input will be highly valued, and you will be expected to lead a team of 6-8 Developers, both based remotely in the UK and internationally, contributing thoughts and ideas in daily stand-ups to help move the project forward. You will be part of a team responsible for the product as it grows; our client will be looking to you to create new product features from supplied requirements, implement new technologies as they emerge and assist with resolving any bugs identified in the product.
The role will entail you to build API methods and the website UI components that consume API methods. You will also be asked to assist with code reviews to ensure the quality of work, and to advise other developers with your product knowledge, when required.
Technology Stack Experience:
- Operating within an Agile delivery environment and be a passionate advocate of Agile practices.

- Developing Technical Capability within the organisation.
